Parish Blueberries Impacted By Frost

Washington Parish is blessed to have ideal acidic soils to grow plants like blueberries and any other acid loving plants. The sandy loam soil with low pH of 4.5 to 5.5 is excellent. Soils with a pH above 5.5 will be hard to adapt for blueberry growth and development and will show yellow leaves and high death rate.
