2020 Graduations Are Scheduled

Will the Class of 2020 graduate in a normal ceremony? That question has been a major topic of conversation in Washington Parish for the past two months. Since schools were abruptly closed by the governor on March 13, seniors and their parents have been left wondering when --- or if --- they will have their graduation ceremonies.

Court dates have been rescheduled

If you were scheduled to appear in Washington Parish Misdemeanor Court or had a traffic ticket date in March, April or May, 2020, please report to the 9-1-1 Building behind the Sheriff’s Office/Jail in Franklinton (also known as the “old Franklinton Police Department”) to get your new court date. You can report any time between 8:30 a.m.
