Harrisons are king and queen

Pat and Henry Harrison of Franklinton have been named as King and Queen for the 2020 Krewe of Pepe. Henry Harrison was the long-time LSU AgCenter agent for Washington Parish, and Pat Harrison was a long-time primary school teacher. Thye Krewe of Pepe Parade will roll through Franklinton on Sunday, February 23.





Pine Masonic Lodge has new officers

FHS defeats Tylertown to get back on the winning track

The Franklinton Demons football team returned to their winning ways last Friday as they defeated the Tylertown Chiefs 30-18 on the road in a see-saw contest that was in doubt until late in the game. The win moves the Demons’ record to 2-2 with an upcoming non-district game with the Sumner Cowboys this Thursday on the road.
