The Franklinton High School Class of 1969 Reunion was held earlier this summer at Franklinton Country Club. 31 members of the class attended along with their principal, Mr. James Stafford. The class originally had 67 graduates but 15 have since passed away.

On June 26, Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office detective Demmie Rice arrested Charles Michael Folse, 32, on multiple charges of sexual offenses against juveniles.
The arrest involved a joint investigation with St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives who are expected to charge Folse with similar offenses there.
