It seems in these crazy months all we get to hear is the bad news that on some days continues to spiral. It has reached a point that many of us now just check our local news for the weather and brief details. There has been an over saturation of negative occurrences.

Thus far, the year 2020 has been something. It has necessitated adaptation --- something I received a crash course in when our daughter's wedding ceremony was switched at the eleventh hour to the Terrace, a site never contemplated, at the Royal Orleans.

2020 Graduations Are Scheduled

Will the Class of 2020 graduate in a normal ceremony? That question has been a major topic of conversation in Washington Parish for the past two months. Since schools were abruptly closed by the governor on March 13, seniors and their parents have been left wondering when --- or if --- they will have their graduation ceremonies.
