Watermelon Festival is
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
All systems are “go” for the 2025 Washington Parish Watermelon Festival, which will be held at the Fairgrounds in Franklinton this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 11, 12, and 13.
Events are planned for all three days of the festival.
The Watermelon Festival Parade will roll Saturday morning at 9 a.m. on the traditional Franklinton parade route.
A big Watermelon Festival fireworks show is planned for 9:30 p.m. Saturday night at the Fairgrounds.
