There will be some new faces when the Washington Parish School Board is sworn in for a new term early next year.
Four of the nine current members of the board are not running for re-election.
In three of the School Board districts, incumbent board members did not draw any opposition and will be automatically re-elected. They are Chad Dorsett of District 2, Dave Pettit of District 7, and Amanda Dillon of District 8.
Board members not running again are Bruce Brown of District 3; Kendall McKenzie of District 4; Robert Boone of District 5; and Lesley McKinley of District 9.
