*Sunday, May 11th is Mother’s Day. It’s a special day that is set aside annually to recognize and honor our Mothers. Yes, this should be done daily but, often the daily cares of this life causes us to take these special people for granted. So with the second Sunday in May being designated as the holiday “Mother’s Day” we are reminded to put our schedules on “pause” to pay tribute to our “Mothers”. Make your gift special & sincere whatever you decide to do. You might want to sing a song, cook a meal, spend your time, etc. Remember that whatever it is that you decide to do, if it’s done from the heart it will be appreciated. #Happy Mother’s Day to My Mother/Annie Pernell and My Grandmother/Emily (Young) Moses*

*Sometimes we have to make U-Turns not only in traffic but in life as well. I had a recent experience where I saw/sensed that an elderly person might need some assistance at a grocery store. Their vehicle was in the store’s parking lot and I felt moved to inquire if I could help them but I ignored that feeling “in my spirit” and consciously drove past the store. Ya’ll, the Holy Spirit convicted me on the spot and I turned my vehicle around. I parked at the store, approached the vehicle and was greeted with sweet words and a smile. This person gladly accepted my offer to help by sending me in the store to pick up some items due to mobility limitations. When I returned I was showered with words of gratitude, a hug and words of Blessings spoken over my life. Wow! I almost missed my Blessing! I Thank God for U-Turns.
