Hello Everyone, I hope you all are in good health and good spirits. A Free Community Dinner was prepared for and served to ALL on Saturday, July 5th and it did indeed satisfy both the body and soul. It was sponsored by Pride and Hope Ministry and 2nd Harvest Food Bank from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. @ the Pride and Hope Ole Hickory Restaurant. This
Blessed event was well attended. These are the types of events that build up a community. Thank you Mrs. Myra Magee and 2nd Harvest for your dedication to serving your community.

Wesley Ray UMC:
*The “United Women in Faith (UWF)” mission group met on June 30th and July 1st, with the President, Shirley Jackson presiding. We met to share and report on the books we read from the UWF Reading Program List. All reports were interesting and full of relevant information. The five key goals of the UWIF Reading Program are: To lean into our spiritual growth, strengthen our leadership skills, equip ourselves for local and global mission, take faithful action for the common good, and build community in ways large and small. The content of each book reported on greatly aided in the pursuit of these goals for our group.
