Live Oak UMC:
*On January 5th the 1st Communion Sunday of the New Year 2025, Pastor Terrence August preached from the book of Isaiah 60:1. His sermon was entitled “Arise, Shine”. Pastor August stated that these are “charge words” that indicate that it’s time for the church to bring light into the world. He shared that we can “shine” by serving God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength. Amen*

*VHS Graduate, LaDarrick Smith recently facilitated a Youth Leadership Training Workshop @ the Brilliant Mindz Community Center. He is presently a senior honors finance student at Morehouse College in Atlanta. He also serves as his Senior Class’ Vice President. *Many Thanks to you LaDarrick for volunteering to share your knowledge with other students!
