Hello Everyone, the Village of Angie was recently the setting for the St. Jude’s Walk/Run event on Saturday, October 4th. The purpose for this event was to raise awareness for cancer among children and raise funds to help find a cure. Denise Evans-Robinson along with family and other volunteers organized this event. A large turnout of participants were present including myself. Pastor Anice Moses and Pastor Earl Robinson were among the participants as well, with Pastor Robinson giving the opening prayer. The feeling of unity, as we worked toward one goal, was both exciting and humbling as the pictures on FB show. I hope other groups or individuals are planning to invest their time and resources for this worthy cause.
***The following information explains what the St.Jude Walk is: The St. Jude Walk is a nationwide cancer walk event, taking place in person and virtually. Reflections:
*About Church Revivals: Church Revivals, in my opinion, are needed. They provide a refreshing of the soul for the Believer in Christ and a ray of Hope for the Unbeliever. I have had the opportunity to attend several over the past two months and have truly been encouraged to encourage others. Just as we can’t expect one meal to nourish our bodies for a lifetime, we need to recharge our souls with God’s Word more than one day per week. If you’ve never been to a Church Revival, Go! If you’ve attended several, keep Going & keep Growing!
*Be Kind to one another, GPigott*
