This is the first day of the Washington Parish Free Fair! I hope everyone has a fun, safe time, during this family-oriented five day event. Remember to be extra patient with the large crowds of people and increased traffic. A little kindness goes a long way and can prevent frustration. Enjoy!!!

Reflections:
*About Fellowship: Some people associate the word fellowship with church worship service only. According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary. “Fellowship” can be defined as; having a community of interest, activity, feeling, or experience.
My fellow “Friends and Neighbors" columnist Nell Smith and I had the opportunity to engage in this type of Fellowship together last week. We enjoyed traveling with Franklinton Baptist Church’s (FBC) Senior Adult Ministry to Branson MO.
Nell and I not only connected because we both write for The Era-Leader but also because she is a very friendly, loving and helpful individual. We enjoyed watching the live plays: The Great Passion (of Christ) and David together to name just a few activities. We both took our Fellowship outside of the “four walls”.
Thank you FBC for sponsoring such a wonderful trip and thank you Nell for adding to my enjoyment.
