*Hello Everyone, These warm November days have been a Blessing. They have provided opportunities for more outside activities and I have been taking advantage of them. For instance, I have been “tree-watching” and photographing the brilliant Fall colors of trees on my property. The bright red, orange and gold leaves are truly a vision of loveliness that only God could orchestrate.
*Dr. K’s Family Medicine has moved to a new location at 400 Louisiana Ave., in Bogalusa. The Grand Viewing for her new office was held on November 8th. Congratulations Dr. K and thank you for continuing to serve the people of Washington Parish.

*On Relationships: The older I get, the more I realize how valuable relationships are. First of all, my relationship with Jesus Christ has deepened with time. In addition, I enjoy time spent with my two daughters and have been the recipient of words of gratitude from them for being their mother. I appreciate the Good Lord for allowing me to see “this day”.
Others dear to my heart are my grandchildren, mother and siblings. Also, feeling loved by my former students when I see them in public makes me smile inside and out. They make sure I see them.
Then there is the relationship that I have with my grandmother that helps to sustain me. Her words of wisdom and songs of praise humble me. At 105 years of age I have had the privilege (on numerous occasions) to observe her feeding herself, using a napkin, drinking coffee and laughing.
I Thank God for relationships because we all need each other. (1 Corinthians 12:12-27)
