***Sunshine and warmer temperatures are a welcomed sight, after the sub-freezing that we were challenged with recently. Enjoying the carnival parades with family, friends and community are much needed. Gatherings help us to cultivate relationships with one another and even form new ones. Also, don’t forget that Valentine's Day is Saturday (2/14/26) and it’s a perfect time to express our love for one another. Remember that these “expressions of love” can be as meaningful as a call, text, visit or card. Be the reason that someone smiles this Valentine’s Day!

*On Celebrations: Last Saturday I attended the “Klassy Kreations”1st Mardi Gras Parade, in Columbia MS and I must say that it was a good one. All of the elements of a happy parade experience were present: happy people, music, a band, cars/trucks/motorcycles, cheerleaders/dancers and sunny weather. As I gracefully age, I’m learning that buIilding relationships with our extended communities promotes unity. I did so enjoy myself and the company of those around me.
*Take care Everyone, GPigott*
