Lent consists of a 40 day period of fasting and prayer that leads up to Easter and ends on Holy Saturday, just before Easter Sunday. Church News:
Wesley Ray UMC:
*The (UMM) United Methodist Men’s Club treated the women of the church to a Valentine’s Dinner on February 12th. I attended with my Mama & sister and truly enjoyed everything. Our Pastors (Rev. August & Rev. Moses) attended with their spouses, as well as Rev. Dickerson and his spouse. Fellowshipping with one another promotes unity and memories that last a lifetime. Many thanks to the UMM for a very pleasant evening.

Reflections:
*On Finding Encouragement (in unlikely places): I recently received some individually wrapped Dove chocolates from one of my daughters. Not only was the chocolate yummy but I discovered that on the inside of each wrapper there were “Encouraging Words” printed. Here is what they said: *Go all in on your Dreams; Reset, Restart, Refocus as many times as you want to; Smile like you found $20 in your pocket; Don’t let the hard days win; Chocolate now…stress later; Be the dream; You’re eating this while hiding from your kids, aren’t you?* I hope these quotes made you smile…I sure did.
*Keep on growing in Love, GPigott*
