Hello Everyone! Now that the time has changed we have more daylight / longer days. Initially we might feel that we are losing an hour of sleep, until we come to the realization that in exchange we’re gaining an hour of daylight. I love Daylight Savings Time. I love the longer days. I hope you enjoy them too.

*The VHS Key Club members recently visited WRES to participate in the “Read Across America” event, during Dr. Seuss Week. They read a variety of books by Dr.Seuss to the students. Older students reading to younger students is (in my opinion) student-engagement in one of its highest forms. #RIF/Reading Is Fundamental
Reflections:
*On Remembering the Bereaved: When someone you care about dies it hurts. We who understand this type of hurt set about to comfort and nurture the grieving, with hugs, compassion, sympathy and love. We sincerely make sure that they have nourishment for their bodies up until the funeral services and through the repass.
What happens afterwards is crucial. I hope that we will remember that aftercare is very important for the “Bereaved” also. The phone calls, texts and visits are still very much needed as the “Bereaved” make adjustments to living without their loved ones. Let us all remember that we are our brother’s and sister’s keeper.
