*It’s June already and the children are out of school. I want to remind and encourage us all to be especially watchful as our children move about in our communities. Many of them (us adults as well) wear ear buds, which can be distracting. Some will be riding ATVs, electric bikes/scooters, skateboards, golf carts, etc. just for fun and enjoyment. Our children sometimes forget to “look both ways” for safety’s sake. Keeping this in mind, let us adults take on the responsibility to be more watchful and thus hopefully avoid events that can become tragic. Be safe everyone!

Reflections:
*On Reaping What We Sow (Galatians 6:7): What is planted (sown) is what will return to us (reaping). This is a true concept that we can all identify with in one way or another. For example with vegetable gardening if we plant corn, corn will be produced not peas, cucumbers or onions, but corn. In relationships with others, if we are impatient, short tempered or rude, others will treat us in the same manner. On the other hand, when we are patient, have a pleasant attitude and are kind, people will treat us in the same manner. It’s true that what goes around really does come back around, so let us remember to treat others as we would like to be treated (Matthew 7:12). ***GPigott
