The Franklinton Demon baseball team hosted local children ages 4 to 13 at the 2025 annual baseball camp. The four days featured drills and sharpening skills in base running, catching and throwing, fielding ground balls, catching fly balls and offensive preparation. Campers were also schooled in the characteristics of a good teammate and baseball etiquette.
Attendees also enjoyed playing rag ball each day. Coach Clay Tageant was assisted by Jonathon Barber, Dustin Khale, Nate Murray, Brady Smith and members of the team.
The event has been held as a summer kickoff for 33 years, and many campers are the sons of former attendees and players. Coach Tageant ended camp by inviting everyone to return to Demon Diamond in the spring of 2026 for some great baseball action.
