Hello, I hope your week has been going good. There was so much going on this past weekend. I felt kind of sorry for all of the animals but we really enjoyed eating them right.
Most people know by now who elder Alvin Partman is. He's the son of the late Hayward Partman Sr. He was the man with the fishing pole who went to any church fishing for lost souls. Well his son is retiring from being a pastor, in the near future so Sylvia Burkhalter got busy with her pastor aid crew and others. They had a three day event going on celebrating on Friday night July 11th at Bethel Church was the musical. People said it was good, and Saturday night was the banquet. Everyone was sharp as a tack looking good in all our sexy black. The colors were black and gold and God was still in control. We were at Rev. Jerome Warren and wife church where he is pastor at Greater Hayes MBC. It's a beautiful place even if it is in the deep woods. The last celebration was on Sunday July 13th at Bethel church at 1:30 pm. Many of the elder Partman's family were there from out of town, and the guest speaker did well. I think everyone went home happy and full.
Reminding you again about our class of 1975 reunion is almost here, it's peeking at us just around the corner. The dates are September the 19th, 20th, and the 21st. The deadline is August 10th but if you call us and let us know we won't turn anybody down. We need to know for sure, so we will have enough food to serve you, doesn't that make sense thank you classmates. If God keeps all of us alive to see each person that will be so awesome.
This is 50 years people and the place to be is at the Bogue Chitto State Park Hwy 25.
