Charles Victor Sheridan, 72, a resident of Franklinton passed away Tuesday afternoon July 21, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was retired after a long career as a truck driver for over 50 years. Vic’s passion was driving trucks cross-country, seeing the beautiful scenery in all parts of the United States. His last adventure was with Air Products for over 20 years of service. He loved taking care of his yard and doing tractor work around his property. Vic enjoyed spending time at the camp and fishing with his friends. He also enjoyed going out to eat with his family every chance that he could. Vic cherished the time spent with his family and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son Charles Benjamin Sheridan, parents Marvin Ralph Sheridan and Wanzie Schilling Sheridan, former wife and mother of his children Irma Ruth Sheridan and other family members.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Thursday July 23rd from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Friday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Friday with Eld. Duane Ball and Eld. Richard Magee officiating. Burial will follow in the Sheridan Cemetery.
