Greetings to all hope each and everyone of you are having a blessed week. Some of you are enjoying fresh veggies from your new garden. I've been blessed to have fresh squash and potatoes. They were wonderful.
June is National Dairy Month
We salute our Dairy Farmers! We are thankful for our dairy farmers in Washington Parish. They work long, endless hours, seven days a week. I know because I grew up on a dairy farm. It's a family business that requires lots of hard work and dedication. We can promote the dairy industry by buying dairy products to support them. During the month I hope to share some recipes sing dairy products. Hopefully, you will make them for your family.
Nate Lebo recently graduated from Franklinton High School. It's hard to believe he is old enough to be a graduate. I had him in Sunday School at Mt. Pisgah before he even started to school. Congratulations to you, Nate, you've grown up to be a fine young man. By the way, he is the son of Jimmy and Melissa Lebo. Time does pass quickly and that means I'm getting older fast. In a way that's wonderful.

Summer vacation is now official! Washington Parish students and teachers have been counting the days for school to be over for this year. They've all worked hard testing, rereading grades for report cards, summing up their duties and now it's over. Everyone have a wonderful summer, have some fun, but be very careful and take good care of yourself. You deserve it!
Christian sympathy to the dear families who have loss beloved ones. Mrs. Nelda Jean Penton, 75, of Franklinton who passed away May 13th and Mr. Jean Pierce 74, of Franklinton died on May 9th. I knew both of these sweet ones they surely will be missed. I came to know Jim when we had a fun time on the Diamond Tours vacation. He and Vondell enjoyed the trips. We had lots of fun together.
Pray for the sick, shut-ins and lonely. A phone call would be welcomed. There are many on the prayer list.
Thought for the week! Prayer is the power that pulls everything together successfully.
Until next time take good care of yourself- Prayerfully Nell
