Hello to all my faithful readers! It has been some Hot summer days. Maybe we'll have some rain to cool things ff. Hope you are keeping cool. By the way when you are out in the heat, be sure to drink plenty of fluids, especially water.
Mt. Pisgah Women on Missions met in the church fellowship hall for their July meeting. Nell shared about the deaf ministry. Several were named who need our prayers, including our missionaries. We fixed three sunshine baskets with cards. Mrs. Janice delivered one and the others delivered later. The sunshine baskets are our way of reaching out, showing love and sharing Christ to others. Enjoying refreshments and visiting were Frances Schilling, Janice Schilling, Sue Alford, Fluorine Sorrell, Nell Smith, Fame Miller and daughter Faith.

Remembering Richard
Family and friends of Richard Schilling remember the special guy who is no longer with us but love for him remains in our heart and misses him very much. Monday, July 15 was his birthday. I miss going out to eat and talking on the phone. He never missed many days calling to check on me. I could always expect a phone call late in the afternoon. He had a special way of making you laugh, and he loved kidding around, I really miss all the special attention he gave me.
I often went to the apartments to play bingo. Rick would invite me to come eat with them on a special occasion. We always looked forward to Aunt Doris driving us to Skinny's on special occasions for barbq. Now my friend Marguerite calls and checks on me daily. We all need to have someone checking on us to make sure we are OK. Praise the Lord for good friends and beloved family.
Please join us praying for the sick, shut-in and lonely. Also pray for my brother Troy Ingram, Jenny Padgett, Ms. Barbara Smith, Mike Applegate, Vivian Smith, my son Bryan Alford, Bobbie Nell Coyle, the Carley Stokes family, Lainey Glaze family, and our church and country.
