Well,school is out for summer and I pray that everyone will have a relaxing one. Both students and teachers deserve a “Brain-Break” for all the hard work they’ve put in this year. Everyone please lookout for our children as they go about their various summertime activities, in an attempt to simply have fun.

*The church celebrated its 2024 Graduates from Kindergarten to High School. Cake and refreshments were enjoyed by all, in honor of the graduates. Congratulations to all!

*Recently, 9th Grader Rayleigh Forbes earned 2nd place in Ag II at the State Literary Rally.
*The end of the year Band and Chorus Concert was held on Thursday, May 16th under the leadership of Band Director, Mr. Kevin Smith.
*The FFA visited the State Capitol during FFA Day and got to visit with State Representative, John Wyble.
*The 2024-2025 VHS Student Council is ready to serve and is as follows: (Seniors) President-Julond Harry; Vice President-Chassidy Dyson; Secretary/Treasurer-Rakia Green; Wildcat Laureate-Quentin Maye; Culture Intermediary-Bryana Moses; Spirit Executive-Jamaya Dalcour; Sr. Student Reps.-Jena and Janayia Harry. The Junior Reps. are: Zhyiah Washington and Desmond Weary Jr.; Sophomore Reps: Rayleigh Forbes and Kinsely Sims and Freshman Reps. are Abbie Franks, Talaun Hall and Londyn Weary.
