As many of you can attest to, as parents our children never stop needing us. Such was the case with my daughter recently when she completed the requirements to graduate from her local community college. Though her fiance and daughter would be there, she asked me/her Mama to please be present. I must admit that I was not feeling my best during this time, as my allergies were “giving me fits”. This situation would affect my ability to drive because of my runny itchy eyes, sneezing, etc and I shared this with her, but she refused to dwell on it and kept talking about her graduation (she no doubt was silently praying for me). Well, the end result was that my symptoms improved after a few days and I was able to make the trip, with Jesus as my Pilot. My daughter, Kandice Pearl Holland, was officially “Pinned” & now is a Medical Assistant. I even got invited to her celebration dinner. I know she loves me but I also think she actually likes me :)
