Hello Everyone I’d like to share about any event that I attended recently. On Saturday, July 6th a host of young entrepreneurs participated in “The Kids Market” that was held in Bogalusa, from 10am-1pm. There was a variety of foods to choose from that these young people had on display to sell. I totally enjoyed their selling pitches/techniques and yes, I purchased from almost everyone. The young entrepreneurs were from the immediate and surrounding communities of Angie, Varnado and Bogalusa. It’s so wonderful when our communities join together to work in Unity for our children.

Reflections:
*Dehydration is a serious condition. I thought it appropriate to share some tips for staying hydrated via google search/stay hydrated:
Drink fluids regularly: Drink 6–8 glasses of fluids per day, such as water, diluted fruit juice, or squash. You can also try flavored waters, coffee, tea, milk, or 100% vegetable juice. Avoid sugary drinks like soda or juice.
Drink before, during, and after exercise
Increase your fluid intake: If you're active or it's hot outside, drink more fluids. You should also replace fluids quickly if you or someone you're caring for is sick, especially if they have a fever, diarrhea, or are vomiting.
Carry a water bottle: Keep a bottle of water with you and refill it as needed.
Eat hydrating foods: Some foods that can help you stay hydrated include watermelon, cucumbers, strawberries, leafy greens, and citrus
