*Today, Wednesday/August 7th was the 1st day of school for the Washington Parish School District. I hope that all the students, faculty and parents had a wonderful 1st day. Both Wesley Ray and Varnado schools are in my immediate community. I joined the PTO at Wesley Ray and the Booster Club at Varnado to support the school community as a whole. I attended both schools and still enjoy interacting with students/staff at both schools. My prayer is for this school year to be safe, engaging and productive for everyone.

***While at the Bogalusa Library last week, I noticed a group happily engaged in Crocheting. I later learned that the name of this group is: The Crochet Crowd.
