Hi Everyone, I have some news to share that some or perhaps many of you may be interested in. I have had and am having the opportunity to engage in some informative and entertaining activities through a program called “Golden Opportunity”. During my annual physical last year, my doctor recommended this program to me based on some difficulties I shared that I was having adjusting to living without my husband, who passed away in 2022. I joined this fabulous group and my life has been greatly enriched through meeting new people, day trips, seminars, entering an art show (my 1st time) and so much more. *The 2024 Spring Band & Chorus Concert Thursday, May 16th @ 2pm.
Wesley Ray Elem. (WRE):
*The 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, May 16th @ 6p.m. The other grade-level, End-of-Year Programs are scheduled for Friday and Monday (May 17th & 20th). The last day of school for students is Tuesday, May 21st.
Reflections:
*Kindness is defined as the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. Each of these three characteristics when activated in us has the power to brighten someone’s day. A friendly smile, a generous compliment and/or a considerate gesture (holding the door for someone) is priceless.
