On Sunday July 17th I was invited to a “Back-to-School” Worship service by one of my former coworkers. The service took place at Mt. Zion in Bogalusa. The BHS Principal Greely spoke and appealed to the church and community to come talk to administration, faculty and staff, with a desire to help students achieve. Pastor Cowart prayed for the teachers as they stood around the altar. Minister Brandon Williams delivered the morning message entitled: Feet Don’t Fail Me Now (Jonah 3:1-4). Let’s all actively pray for and encourage all students and school employees, as they prepare for the upcoming school year. Collectively we can accomplish much.

*The Church Anniversary Celebration is scheduled for Sunday, July 24th @ 11:00 a.m. Rev. Bruce L. Brown will be the guest speaker. All are invited and welcomed to attend.
New Beginning Ministry (NBM):
*The church sponsored a “Summer Bash” on Saturday, July16th for the children and families in the community. This fellowship included free games, waterslides, food and other fun activities. Thanks NBM for providing wholesome activities for all to enjoy!

*Cheerleaders attended camp during the week of July 11-15th, in Panama City. With football season approaching, the group is sure to be prepared to lead the crowd in cheers for the Mighty Wildcats!
