Hello Everyone! I hope that all people, pets and plants have benefitted from the recent rains that we’ve had. I for one truly am grateful to God for the rain. On another train of thought, I have a question to ask you all: Have you ever had to take a “detour”? I have and did just the other day. It began when I was traveling from Covington to Angie via Hwy 21, that I encountered a detour in Sun LA. This detour took me on a route that was unmarked and on a road/hwy that I had never traveled on before. I instinctively closely followed the vehicles in front of me. After driving for several minutes, I began to recognize my surroundings. Though I had not arrived at my intended destination, to my relief I finally actually knew where I was. One definition for the word detour is - a long or roundabout route that is taken to avoid something. At first I dreaded the detour but remembered that I was being spared involvement in whatever was going on that was unforeseen to me. In addition, I was reminded that things (detours) are not always as bad as they seem. #LessonsInTheDetour
