Hello there, I hope all is well. In the Fair City we have many conventions coming up. Here is one you can relate to, the Church of Christ Holiness USA District III Annual Convention. Convening at Sweet Home Church of Christ (Holiness) USA. 2200, 2200 Greenlaw Ave, Franklinton. It will be June 7th, 8th, and 9th. The theme will be Power Unleashed: Walking in Authority, the song is Have Faith in God HF #218, and the scripture will be Ephesians 3:20.
Make sure to be free for Saturday, June 15 between 12:00 pm through 6 pm. The Washington Parish NAACP will be presenting "Juneteenth Jamboree", a family fun day. It will be at Cassidy Park, 202 Arkansas Ave in Bogalusa. It will be a great education-inspiration-celebration place. The parade line up will be at 8 am and the parade will begin at 10 am. A live performance will be held by Shamarrick Campbell and Youthful praise! Also, DJ Dexxx D.W.S.P. will be performing. Honorable Mayor Greg Route and Mrs. Emma Route. Come together as one big family reunion of fun for Juneteenth. Come join the fun!
The prayer list this week goes out to Ella Rose Harvey, Serenity Village, and to all those who lost loved ones, those who have been in the hospital, and those who are ill at home.
