hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend. We went to Franklinton High School’s Graduation Friday night, spent time together shopping, doing lunch, and practice driving with Annalise on Saturday, and then church, lunch, and a nap on Sunday. All in all, it was a relaxing weekend. Thank you to my mama for being an amazing role model for me, although I am nowhere near her level. (yet) I am grateful for having a mama and precious mother-in-law to show myself and my girls how to be!
Brother Chris Wheeler delivered a beautiful sermon about mothers and their importance, along with the importance of following the Lord’s word in being a mother. Mrs. Loralee McClendon received the flowers for the eldest mother, and Mrs. Candace Brown received the flowers for having the youngest child.
The Blessing of Food will be May 30-31. VBS is coming up June 2-6. If you would like to help in any way, please contact Mrs. Alice Pigott.
We have some church members who have an opportunity to go to New York City for an evangelistic outreach in the next few weeks. If you would like to give to a Love Offering, please contact Brother Chris. We will be growing a fund for this type of future opportunity.
The Youth will be selling Nothing Bundt Cakes until May 27th. They will have a Money Calendar for the month of June. The Youth are encouraged to participate in VBS to help with the littles and in spreading the gospel. June 7th will be a Kayaking trip at Okatoma, Fuego is June 24-28, and Arise July 18-22.

The teachers of Enon Elementary School had a WONDERFUL Teacher Appreciation last week! We also celebrated our fabulous school nurse Mrs. Jennifer McNutt. Thank you for celebrating us, I am so thankful for these amazing co-workers! EES had Senior Walk Through last week, we are so proud of our High School graduates. Congratulations to all of the 2024 graduates both high school, and college! (Go be great!)
The Enon Library has been enjoying watching Wacky Races after school on Thursdays. Make sure you register your kiddos for the Summer Reading Program! I can’t wait to see the variety of shows they have this year!
It is END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR! 2nd grade will have their field trip May 15th. May 16th will be Pre-K awards at 8:30 am, Kindergarten 9:30 am, and 6th grade 2 pm. May 17th Awards will be 1st grade 8:30 am, 2nd 9:30 am, 3rd 10:30 am, 4th 12:30 pm, and 5th 1:30 pm. That will also be the last day for Pre-K and K.
Students may wear a Spirit Shirt or Uniform Shirt with Khaki bottoms on May 17th. May 20th is Fun Day and May 21st is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! Report cards will be mailed on May 22nd.
