What a crazy week it has been. The last day of school for kids was Tuesday, last day for teachers was Wednesday, and the girls and I left for the beach on Thursday. It was a great trip for Gracie’s birthday, however we never even got to touch the beach or the swimming pool. There was shopping, eating, putt putt, music, dancing, cruising up and down the beach, and an escape room. It was definitely a quick, but fun trip, and I hope next time to stay longer!

There was an amazing birthday party held for Mrs. Rita Mizell this past weekend.
There was also a wonderful Housewarming held for Alice Pigott. We are so happy for her and the blessing of her new home.
There will be a work day at Enon Baptist Church on June 1st. There will be several projects going on outside as well as setting up for VBS. Breakfast will be ready at 7 am. Vacation Bible School is one week away! Please send your sweet kiddos to join us and learn more about Jesus as a kid! VBS is June 2nd to June 6th from 5:30 pm to 8 pm. The Youth will be participating in VBS as well. The Youth will be kayaking at Okatoma June 7th. If you would like to go (adults too) please let Miranda know.

Congratulations to our Enon Elementary Teacher of the Year Miss Sarah Morse and Staff of the Year was a tie between Mrs. Jessica Easterling and Mrs. Jennifer McNutt. We are so proud of these ladies and even more thankful for them!
On our last day of school, the teachers and staff had Breakfast and Bingo. There were lots of yummy treats, laughs, and FUN! Speaking of fun, FUN DAY was on Monday last week and a good time was had by all the students and adults! Now we hope you have a safe and amazing summer.
The Enon Library has Looney Tunes movies on Thursdays at 3 pm. Don’t forget to register for the Summer Reading Program at the Enon Library. If you have any questions, you can call 985-839-9385. June 5th at 2 pm there will be stilt walkers. I think that is the coolest! The library also has a photo booth to take pictures!
