It was a beautiful day of commencement exercises for the MHS Class of 2024. This past Saturday, May 11th, nineteen students received their diplomas. The ceremony began with Emily Dillon, Vice President of the class, welcoming everyone, invocation by Shunna Williams, class Secretary, Pledge of Allegiance led by Brooklyn Falgout, class Treasurer, and the National Anthem sung by Jessica Spears. Students who introduced the special guests were Jacob Webster, Kathrine Quin, and Emma Pena. Emma Pena is the class President and graduated top of her class with a 4.0 grade point average. Many awards were given, and I plan to have the names of the recipients next week. Before receiving their diplomas from Principal, Ms. Stacy Bond, the class Farewell song "The Climb" was sung by Jessica Spears. Congratulations to you all! Class Motto: “Together, we have experienced life. Separately, we will pursue our dreams. Forever, our memories will remain.”
