The Mt. Hermon Ruritan Club will have their annual Shrimp Dinner Fundraiser on Friday, September 6th, with pickup at the clubhouse from 11AM-1PM. $12 only for a lb. of boiled shrimp, 2 potatoes and 1 corn. Mt. Hermon Baptist Church will have Revival Sunday, September 8th at 10 AM and 6 PM. Also, September 9-11th at 6:30 PM. The guest preachers are Rev. Keith Sheridan on Sunday, Rev. Fred Brumfield on Monday night, Rev. Leroy McElveen on Tuesday night and Rev. Marcus Rosa on Wednesday night. Guest music leader will be Caleb Dykes.

At Sunday night’s Hope Alive meeting at Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church, our very own William McKee shared with us his testimony. He spoke of how he went from being in and out of jail to bringing the word of God to the men of Washington Parish Jail every Sunday. All are welcome to join us on Sunday evenings at 7 PM for Hope Alive meetings, or come early at 6:15 for food and fellowship. We will soon start selling chicken dinners for our fall barbecue on September 28th.
