The Mt. Hermon School Fall Fest is this Friday, November 1st from 6-8:30 PM. They will have trick or treating, food, games, spook house, dunking booth and more. All are welcome!
The Good Samaritan Club of MHS is sponsoring a food drive. Feel free to drop off donations at the school office. You may also call the school office at 985-877-4642 to get a message to the club sponsor.
Basketball season is here! The first home games for high school is Nov. 5th, playing Maurepas, then Nov. 12th against Sumner. All games start at 5:00 PM. The 7th grade Jamboree is Nov. 4th at Pine. 8th grade Jamboree is Nov. 7th, also at Pine. MHS Jr. High plays against Pine at 5 PM on Nov. 11th at MHS.
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church showed appreciation to our Pastor, Bro. Randall Garcia, for Pastor Appreciation month. He was presented with a basket full of cards and gifts this past Sunday from his church family.
Wednesday night after church, we surprised Sis. Suzonne Garcia with cake and ice cream to celebrate her birthday, which was October 24th. Our pastor and pastor’s wife are both very much appreciated and loved by all.
The children enjoyed a wagon ride through the parking lot and around the church after church this past Sunday. Bro. Dewayne Bennett offered his tractor and wagon, and Bro. Todd Boyd was the driver. After the children rode around, the teenagers also got a turn. They all had a great time!
