Hello everyone! I can’t believe it’s already the last week of May! Happy Birthday to my mama, Rachel Gill, who celebrated on May 26th, and to Pastor Randall Garcia, whose birthday is May 29th.
Mt. Hermon Baptist Church had a wonderful church picnic after their Sunday morning service. The Lord blessed them with a tremendous day of worship, food, fellowship and fun.
Bogue Chitto Baptist Church had a Hello Summer celebration last Wednesday to celebrate the end of the school year and the beginning of summer. Pizza, popsicles, water relay races, bubbles and ladder ball was enjoyed by all.
Wednesday night activities will resume the first Wednesday in August.
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church was blessed to hear the testimony of Tammy Efferson at Sunday night’s Hope Alive meeting. Everyone is welcome to join us at 7 PM every Sunday night for meetings. Food and fellowship is at 6:15, and dress is casual. Recovery has a name and it’s Jesus!
We will continue having our regular weekly activities throughout the summer. Coffee and the Word Bible Study, Mondays at 7 PM, Tuesday Prayer Meeting at 7 PM, Wednesday nights at 7 PM-classes for children, youth and adults, and Sunday mornings at 10 AM for worship service with Pastor Randall Garcia.
The Young at Hearts will have their next monthly gathering on June 20th. They will meet at Golden Corral in McComb, MS at 11:30.
I hope you all had a safe Memorial Day weekend and remembered the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and freedom.
