Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful summer. I’m just getting back from a little fishing trip from up in Mississippi. It was fun, but it’s always good to be back.
The ladies of Mount Hermon Baptist Church recently went on a weekend retreat to Natchez, MS. They toured the city in a horse-drawn carriage and Frogmore Plantation. Biscuits and Blues and Big John Bar-B-Q were two of the restaurants where they enjoyed delicious southern foods. It was also a time of encouragement, Bible study, and fellowship.

3 Days & 4 Nights was the theme of this year’s Kids Kamp in Tioga, La. Over three hundred kids received the holy ghost this past week, and three of those are from our children’s group. Congratulations to Lynden, Ezra and Brynlee! This is such a blessing! Eleven of our children attended camp, and they all had fun and learned a lot about Jesus.
The Young at Hearts will meet next Thursday, June 20th, 11:30 AM, at Golden Corral in McComb, Ms.
It’s watermelon time in Mt. Hermon! Get the best watermelons around at Schilling’s Farm and Market, located on Norman Painter Rd. Prices range from $10-$15, and they are open until 6 PM.
