The MHS Jackettes Dance Team is selling grilled chicken plates for $12. Each plate will include a leg quarter, two sides, bread and cake. The day of pick-up is Monday, July 29th (same day as Prep Day) from 10 AM-2 PM. Please see an MHS Jackette to order.
A free Hunter Safety Class will be held on August 2nd from 5:30-8:30 PM and August 3rd from 8 AM-3 PM at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. This 2 day class is for anyone 10 years of age and up. Adults are welcome to attend. Get registered at Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries website (http://www.wlf.louisiana.gov) to reserve your seat. Sunny Hill Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School this week from July 18th-July 21st, 5:30-7:30 PM. All children are welcome! Everyone is encouraged to bring a canned food item for the Food Bank and Blessing Box.
The Young at Hearts of Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church will meet this Thursday, 11:30 at The Burger Basket in Osyka, Ms. Join them for a time of food, fun and fellowship.
The Empower Ladies Conference is scheduled for August 17th, from 9 AM-3 PM, at Woodlawn Church in Columbia, Ms. The cost is $20. You may pre-register at the Woodlawn Facebook page, and you will receive a free lunch and a treat basket.
