Bring the whole family to Silver Creek Campground next Saturday, August 2nd, for a Kids Water/Glow Day. The fun starts at 1 PM with shirt painting. Kids vs. adults at 3 PM in water balloon wars. DJ/Karaoke and glow party games start at 7 PM. They will also have a water slide and bounce house all day!

The first day of school is right around the corner. Time to get ready! Mt. Hermon School will have Prep Day on Monday, July 29th from 8-12. All students should wear a uniform shirt. Students will be able to take ID pics, pick up class schedules, pay class fees, drop off school supplies and meet their teacher.
The Little Stingers will also have sign ups at Prep Day. This cheer team will consist of girls in grades PreK-2nd. The price is $50, and includes a printed shirt, black shorts, pom poms and a hair bow. Sign ups will be in the classroom of Adrienne Nicholson (the sponsor) in the K-2nd grade hall, Room 407. The first 20 girls to pay on July 29th will be on the team.
The children’s group of Bogue Chitto Baptist Church spent a few days at Camp Living Waters in Loranger last week. Lots of fun was had by swimming, water sliding, making crafts, having a glow party, and even playing in the mud. The camp’s theme for the week was “Seek”. They learned about seeking God first, seeking to grow and seeking to go. Follow where God leads and tell everyone about Jesus!
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church invites everyone to come be a part of our family. Bible study is every Monday at 7, and prayer meeting is every Tuesday at 7. Wednesday nights at 7 is devotion for adults and classes for children and youth. Sunday mornings at 10 is worship service, and Sunday evenings is Hope Alive. Hope Alive is a faith based, court approved, 12 step program for anyone struggling with an addiction, hurt, habit or hang up. We meet at 6:15 for food and fellowship, and meetings start at 7. Dress is casual. “Happy are those who know they are spiritually poor”. Matthew 5:3
