Mt. Hermon School
Congratulations to MHS Beta student, Weston Fortenberry, who competed last week at the National Beta Convention in Nashville, Tennessee. Earlier this year, Weston won 1st place with his deer artwork that he created and built from all recyclable materials, which advanced him to the National Competition. MHS is very proud of Weston for this accomplishment and well representing Mt. Hermon School.
Bogue Chitto Baptist Church
Bogue Chitto will have a family fun day at Bogue Chitto State Park on August 20th. Everyone is welcome to join them on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM for Sunday school, followed by worship service at 10:30 AM.
Mt. Hermon Baptist Church
The youth group returned from Fuge Camp in Clinton, MS on Saturday. They were excited to share their camp experiences with the congregation on Sunday morning.
Children's Fun Day is July 14th from 3-7 PM. All children aged 5-12 are welcome. Please register your child through the Mount Hermon Baptist Church Facebook page.
This coming Sunday, July 10th at 5 PM, they will have an evening Bible study with refreshments and fellowship.
The Women's Ministry is hosting a Back to School Blessing, "Sandals and Shortcakes". This is to honor and pray for teachers, school personnel and students as they begin a new school year. This will take place Saturday, July 30th at 10 AM at MHBC. You may dress casual. All women are invited, and teachers are encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served.
