Mt. Hermon School
Welcome back to MHS, Ms. Alyssa Woodard! Alyssa is a MHS graduate, Class of 2015. She is now there as the Kindergarten teacher.
Friday is the 1st day of school for 1st-12th grades! Pre-K and Kindergarten students will meet at school at 8 AM this Friday to receive their testing date. These students are not to ride the bus on this day, as they will not stay all day and will leave with a parent/guardian. Please bring all supplies labeled with child's name. Boys will go to school Wednesday, August 17th. Girls will go to school Thursday, the 18th. Boys and girls will attend school Friday, the 19th.
Silver Creek Campground
This Saturday, August 6th at 1 PM, an obstacle course consisting of slipping and sliding through a foam pit, jumping through hoops, balloon pit, monster sprinkler and more will kick off the afternoon water activities. Followed by a Kids vs. Parents water balloon war. D.J. and karaoke starts at 7 PM.
Mt. Hermon Baptist Church
For the first time in two years, MHBC hosted a 5th Sunday Singing this past Sunday evening. They had a wonderful time in worship and fellowship with Hays Creek Baptist Church and Bogue Chitto Baptist Church.
Bogue Chitto Baptist Church
August 20th, BCBC will have their Back to School Family Day at Bogue Chitto State Park.
Fall Food Roundup will be in September, as well as their Revival, Sept. 11th-14th.
Everyone is welcome to join them for Sunday school at 10:30, followed by worship service at 11:30. Bible study and Children in Action is on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 PM.
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church
This coming Sunday, Aug. 7th, we will have our Back to School Bash after the morning service. Lunch will be provided, but the ladies are encouraged to bring a homemade dessert. Two water slides will be set up for all the kids and teenagers.
