Greetings to all my faithful readers! Tuesday late afternoon a week ago we had some bad in our area. Trees were blown down, limbs everywhere and the electricity went off. We thought surely the electricity would come back on soon. About 6 pm we got on the phone hunting us a place where they had electricity. You see Bryan has to be on. We began to make plans, got belongings bagged up and went to my granddaughter Jennifer in Tylertown. We returned home the next day at about noon. Thank the Lord the power was on. They were happy to have us and it was a great visit for us also.
My grandchildren, Kalem Tyler Graham, and Emily Elizabeth Watkins recently graduated kindergarten. Kalem is 5 years old and the son of Tyler and Anna Graham of Jayess, Mississippi. Emily is 6 years old and the daughter of Jason and Jennifer Watkins of Tylertown, Mississippi. The kindergarten graduation was held at New Bethel Christian School in Jayess, Mississippi on May 6, 2024.
The class recited the books of the Bible, the United States Presidents, and aa scripture for every letter in the Alphabet. They both had Honor Roll.
Teachers' appreciation week at Mount Hermon School was a special time. During the week we had lots of goodies to enjoy. Special thanks to those who brought the food. We also had lunch set up in the lounge one day. During the last couple of weeks, the lower grades enjoyed going on field trips. MHS Senior graduation was held on Saturday morning, May 11th. Congratulations to all the graduates of Mount Hermon and the surrounding area. You are to be commended for all your accomplishments. As you step out into the world do your best and remember, to put God first and everything will fall into its proper place.
I'm happy to report that my son Bryan is home after nine days in the hospital and is doing better. Heartfelt thanks to all of you who have visited, called on the phone, sent cards and prayer for him.
Remember to pray for the sick, lonely, shut-in and the families that have lost loved ones.
I'll visit with you next time- same time, same station, Prayerfully Nell.
