Well folks summer days continue; temperature will continue to rise in days to come. We have had some rain to help cool things off and keep the grass watered and then the mowing.
Our Women on Missions recently met at the church for the June meeting. We made up three Get Well Sunshine baskets. Two of the baskets have been delivered. Those receiving them were thankful and very appreciative to get them. There was also a thought of you card signed by all the ladies. Attending were Frances Schilling, Valerie Goings, Martha Millie, Cathy Johnson and Nell. Frances had the mission emphasis and named the missionaries who had a birthday that day. Circle prayer was voiced and had enjoyed finger foods and chit chat.

I was invited to go with Barbara and Evelyn Burch to see Karen Peck and New River Sunday night a week ago. The church was full, and all enjoyed the singing.
Continue to pray for the sick, shut-ins, and the families who have lost loved ones.
