Summer greetings to all! It surely has been hot these days. We did get some rain-that surely did help. We could use some more rain. Hopefully the Lord will see fit for us to get more rain, things are getting dry.
I've been seeing some Washington Parish Watermelons around. I look forward to having some the fourth. I also look forward to the Watermelon Festival July 5th, 6th, and 7th. Jackie and I attended the Watermelon Pageant held at City Hall. The young ladies were really dressed up for the occasion.

I have been busy cutting off corn and shelling peas. They were delicious and I put some in the freezer. I've also picked blueberries a couple times. They seem to be plentiful this year. I usually make blueberry cobbler pies and jelly.
Bryan can be off oxygen some during the day, but on it at nighttime, sleeping. We are so thankful God has answered our prayers.
We have several on the prayer list. Virginia Padgett is recuperating from her knee surgery. She has been in much pain and is able to walk now. We pray for complete healing. Take care of yourself.
Thought for the week! Life is like a puzzle! Everything that happens to us is part of our search for the right choices that will lead us to completeness in Jesus!
I'll wait with you next time! Stay tuned! Take care of yourself in the het, and drink plenty of fluids, prayerfully Nell.
