Hello and greetings to all my faithful readers. Hopefully you had a blessed Thanksgiving. My day was wonderful, naturally I ate too much and probably you did also. You may not admit it, but when we have lots of extras we can't help ourselves!
To all our ladies! We are looking forward to our ladies holiday outing on Saturday, December 7th. We will meet at the church at 10 am and go to Mike's Catfish in Amite. Bring a $5 gift for exchanging. Make plans to go for a fun time together.
Our Christmas program will be Sunday night, December 8th, with fellowship to follow in the church fellowship hall. Finger foods are needed.
Following the Sunday morning service on November 24th everyone gathered for our church family Thanksgiving meal held in the church fellowship hall. A bountiful meal of turkey, ham, fried chicken, corn bread dressing, chicken dumplings, with several side dishes were enjoyed by all. The hall was decorated in a colorful fall theme. We were thankful to have several visiting with us. There was no evening service; Wednesday night prayer meeting was also canceled.
I'm happy to hear we have a new addition to the family. My great niece Mary has a beautiful baby girl born Wednesday, November 13th. Her name is Eden Hope. She is my sister Jackie's great granddaughter.
Celebrating a December birthday are these special ones. Hope your day is a special one!
