Hello again to everyone. Happy Thanksgiving to all my faithful readers. We all have been so blessed. We have so much to be thankful for. I'm so thankful to have a day set aside to offer thanks for all we have. As a child of God, every day is a day of thanksgiving for us. We have been saved by God's wonderful grace and have eternal life.
Well, I wasn't able to burn up that firewood like I thought I would have. That's ok, it will happen soon enough.
My apologies, if I have missed or overlooked someone's birthday or anniversary. We had to write our columns early this week because of Thanksgiving.
Happy Birthday to the following: . . . Trey Jenkins, Wayne Kennedy, Jared Magee, Victoria Luper, James Stubbs, Emery Reese Knight, Cohen Kennedy, and Brody Estave.
Happy Anniversary to Andy & Ashely Nobles.
Please remember the David Young family in your prayers as they mourn the loss of their loved one.
Last week's Bible question: . . . What Old Testament prophet had a vision of a ram and a goat? ...... The answer is Daniel. Found in Daniel 8:1-5
This week's Bible question:. . . . How many times and where will you find the exact phrase "be thankful" and also the exact phrase "be ye thankful" in your KJV Bible? (I asked this question last year. I thought it neat to ask it again.)
Quote for the week: . . . . “Thanksgiving is recognition of a debt that cannot be paid. We express thanks, whether or not we are able otherwise to reimburse the giver.”...... Billy Graham.
OK ya'll. Be safe out there if you are one to go "Black Friday" shopping. It's supposed to be "COLD" Friday and Saturday. I told you I would be burning up some firewood....hehe!!
Till next time, Be safe, be blessed, and don't eat too much. ( I had a preacher friend tell me, "It ain't glutton, unless you can't keep it down.") So
Don't be no glutton person this week. Ya'll have fun...!!
