Hello again everyone. I trust you all had a great week. It's going to be a busy week around the "Hunt" household this week. I would like to say, congratulations, to our granddaughter, Audrey Carter, who will graduate from Franklinton High School on Friday night May 10th. Also, congratulations to our son, Chad Hunt who will graduate on the 9th at USM in Hattiesburg, MS. He will receive his doctor's degree in music.
Lawrence Creek Missionary Baptist church recognized their 2024 High School and College Graduates, this past Sunday. High school graduates, were Noah Barber, Addilyn Nobles, and Brady Polk from Pine High School. Erynn Ducoing, from Covington High School, and also Noah Fussell. College graduates were, Kassidy Nielson and Claire Singley from ULM, and Lenzie Spencer from PRCC.
Acy's Creek Missionary Baptist church also recognized their graduates, but I didn't have all the names other than our granddaughter.

The first full week of May is "Teacher Appreciation Week." Hats off to all the wonderful teachers in our parish.
I know it's getting close for churches to host their Vacation Bible Schools. If your church is in the Pine, Thomas, or Stateline community, please send me your information and I will list it in The Era-Leader’s community news. Also, many churches have revival meetings this time of year as well.
