Hello Everyone, I hope all of you had a safe and restful week. I want to begin my column today by sharing some of the services that the “Pride and Hope Ministry- Family Support Services'' agency provides. This agency is located at 25502 LA-21, in Angie, LA and is an important resource in the communitiy.
Some of the many services offered by the agency are: home care, assisted living, direct service workers and a childcare center. The Administration Members for Pride and Hope are: Beverly T. *The United Methodist Women (UMW) will hold their Annual Women's Day Program on Sunday, January 23rd beginning @ 11:00 a.m. The service will consist of a presentation by the UMW and a “Wellness & Resource” Team to conduct: covid vaccines, glucose & blood pressure screenings, budgeting & finance resources, nutrition & fitness education, giveaways and more. All are invited and welcomed to attend. *Covid protocols will be adhered to (masks worn, social distancing, temperatures taken).
New Beginning Ministry (62075 Seal Rd.-Angie, LA):
*Family and Friends Day is scheduled for Sunday, January 23rd @ 3p.m. The Special Guest is Pastor Stewart from Houston, TX and the theme is “We Are Better Together” (Ephesians 2:19-22). A two-night Elevation Revival will follow on Monday and Tuesday (January 24-25) beginning @ 7 p.m. nightly. The theme for the Revival is: Rest, Reclaim & Restore *Haggai 2:9).

*The New Inductees for the VHS NTHS are as follows: Camry Dabon, Tyriah Davis, Chasidy Dyson, Amber Fairley, Jena Harry, Julond Harry, Emily Hartzog, Kor'Dajah Mingo, Lauryn Smith and Erica Wiggins. *Keep up the good work students!

*Students have until January 28th to submit their 4-H Beef Posters to their school’s 4-H Club Leaders, for the poster contest.
