Live Oak UMC:
*Easter Worship for the Angie-Charge was held at Live Oak UMC. Pastor August preached from the book of Colossians 3:1. The title of his sermon was “Resurrection Power”. He shared that in order to activate this power in our lives we must: Believe in it, Speak to others about it and Act on it/Live it. In addition, the Youth from each church gave Easter presentations. Lastly, everyone present received a treat bag with: a boiled and beautifully dyed egg & candy treats. The message on the treat bag read: “Rejoice, Jesus is Risen”.
Mt Zion MBC (Varnado):
*On Saturday, April 6 The church will host a Clothes and Household Goods Giveaway The public is invited and welcomed to attend.

*The following students recently attended the State LiteraryRally in Baton Rouge: Tillias Hall; Collin Lozier; Rayleigh Forbes; Lauryn Smith and Kinsley Sims.
*The Class of 2024 Prom King and Queen are Chase Lewis & Lauryn Smith.
*The Lady Cats Softball defeated St. Katharine Drexel 24-2 in District Play.
