New Beginning Ministry:
*A “Kingdom Expansion Ministry Ordination” service took place @ the church on Sunday, May 15th. The host pastor was Bishop A.D. Spikes. The Ordination Panel included; Pastor Jacob Tate, Pastor Wardel Dyson, Apostle Antoine Graves, Dr. Lavern Cook, Pastor Andryl Spikes/Proctor, with the Ordination sermon given by Dr. Sydney Jones. The Ordination candidates were: Ray Adams, Anesha Spikes, Keith Slaughter, Kolufax Spikes and Katie Slaughter. Continued Blessings to All!

** Kalyn Kay Bennett Yount was selected as the High School Teacher of the Year, Jr. High Teacher of the Year is Kelly Stubbs and the Support Staff of the Year is Lasonia Whitehead.
***Tyriah Davis a 2022 Honor Graduate of VHS was selected to sing the National Anthem at the opening ceremony of the “Bogalusa Balloon Festival”, on Saturday, May 21. Best wishes in all your future endeavors Tyriah!
Wesley Ray Elem. (WRE):
*I had both the honor and privilege of attending some of the recognition and promotion programs at the school last week. The programs were well attended by families and members of the community. Kudos to Principal Angela Kennedy and her staff for the wonderful job they did!
